R/Me Anti-Caster Build
Hey, I use this build alot in random arenas and in guild battles sometimes, its my favorite since its only drawback is lack of healing, anyway here it is:
14 Marks (sup rune and mask)
12 Expertise (minor rune)
10 Domination
1 Inspiration
ONLY NOOBS "FORGET" TO BRING REZ
At 10 domination, blackout lasts for 5 seconds which isn't special except for the way I use the timing of it. If you have a smart team, they will bash on the monk when this is cast on him, as such, as soon as its over, he'll try to heal himself. Usually as soon as blackout ends for me, I'll fire a distracting shot and catch his healing touch or something, orison is no problem but touch is kinda hard unless you have some kind of timing set up. Enchant strip is so sad in arenas that it only exists in builds based around them. Stripping a warrior's mending will save you from having to fight through 60hp every 10 seconds which is annoying since my arrows hit 6-20 per hit (once every 2 seconds). Enchant strip also works for those retard 55 monks who don't expect a ranger to be carrying enchant strip. More and more of those idiots are showing their face in random arena, must be a lot of bored 55 monks. Hex breaker is for those annoying necros or mesmers who think they can scare you with the phantasm/phantom pain combo or huge degen. Necros are easy, just interupt their curses since most are 2 seconds. Mesmer without fast casting is also OK, because 1 second hexes aren't too hard unless you're far away. Any comments or suggestions? Feel free to post them here but if you have flames, make it constructive or shove it up your ass.

Looks good to me, I would never use it though. I like WS and troll unguent is very good and it gives monks a break, WS also gives you a couple stances. I would not reccommend use this build in HoH- or GvG fights. I think your team is much stronger with a regular interrupt buid, a memser could do all the other stuff much better.

Thats why he mentioned the Random Arenas...ie..Comp Arenas.
Builds that break the norm often times confuse the CA people.
As for that propose - yes its an effective interupter in CA. The Enchantment stripping is also welcome for the chances you need it.
Still the flaw in most interuptors is present..If a good warrior or two gets on you..You lose alot of your effectiveness.
Rangers aren't the first to be targeted in Random Arenas but they still get targeted before Warriors and Monks usually. (most people go Necros, then mesmers, then eles, and so on after that).

MAybe luck isnt on my side, because whenever I go anti warrior as r/n, I go up against a team with a 55 monk and whatever else weakness and slowed attacks don't affect -_-. Generally the warriors that I see in random arena can all be stopped by a cripple or something, so if I so happen get on a group with a anti-warrior mesmer, spiteful or aura bomber necro, condition and hex monk (with minimal heals), I think we could own just about any group in random OR team arena, except ranger spike would take some specific skills to render useless.
